Address: Piazza IV Novembre
In Piazza IV Novembre, formerly Largo della Rotonda, stands the Monument to the dead of the First World War, commonly called "The Tombstone." It was designed by the local artist Francesco Patella and was opened on August 14, 1923 by Marshall P. Badoglio visiting Mosciano with his wife and daughter, as evidenced by the photos of that event. By the late '20s around the Monument was built a beautiful garden, where palm trees were planted, while in the 50s, in the middle of this garden, was added a little tombstone in honor of the soldiers killed in the Second world Conflict. (vedi Rev. Ed. 1 Pischedda A. 1971).
